We created beautiful flower scenes using lots of different materials. First, we painted the background of a cloudy sky and grass onto a paper plate. Next, we used a needle and wool to thread the wool through the paper plate to create the effect of grass. We finished the picture by colouring in flowers, cutting them out and adding them to the scene.

Senior Infants & 1st Class
We used clay to create love hearts for Valentine's Day. We moulded the clay into the shape of a heart and we used our pencils to create designs on the heart. After a few weeks of allowing the clay to dry, the hearts were then ready to be painted.

Senior Infants & 1st Class
The children were learning about and experimenting with magnets. We were interested to find out if a magnet could attract a paper clip through different materials. We discovered that a magnet could be attracted through paper. This gave us the idea to design a race track and to use a magnet to drive the paper clips around the race track as cars.
